I am a Research Assistant Professor at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine. My work spans multiple disciplines - cognitive neuroscience, behavioral genetics, radiology, and psychiatry - to better understand the relationship among individual differences in the brain, mental health, and cognitive abilities as well as etiological factors relevant to this intersection. I am particularly interested in translational applications of BOLD and VASO fMRI. I also have a leadership role at Pitt's Magnetic Resonance Research Center where we develop and employ cutting-edge MR methods to answer new questions about the way the body works.
